Great Lakes Global Sourcing is an American owned company based in Hong Kong and Jiangsu, China.  We are industry-leading professionals that offer comprehensive services in Supply Chain Management.  Our services range from complete supply chain management, direct sourcing, quality inspections, factory audits, and logistics.

 

Great Lakes Global Sourcing's founder, Don Kenny, has been working in the manufacturing field for his entire career spanning nearly 30 years.  Having “grown up” through the ranks, from laborer to complete site and factory General Manager in both U.S. and China, it is Don’s passion for seeking excellence in manufacturing that has led him to offer his assistance to foreign purchasers of goods in the Asia-Pacific markets, to help ensure they get the high level of quality products they expect and deserve.

 

Having “worked in the trenches” as a General Laborer and continuously experiencing and advancing through nearly every phase of factory/company level, Don brings a truly unique perspective and understanding to what it takes to manufacture quality products.  Having the hands-on direct experience and responsibilities in production, quality, procurement, logistics, supervision and complete site management, allows Don to utilize his broad knowledge to assist others in ensuring their Asian purchasing experience is successful.

 

Don has lived and worked in China since 2006 and continues to be committed to making China his home and staying located where the work is done.  Don has China direct management experience in complete factory responsibilities as well as in-depth Asian sourcing, quality, and complete supply chain experience.  Knowing the Chinese business culture, language, and personal culture enables our team to build upon synergies perhaps not offered by others.  You can have the confidence in knowing that you have a tenured American manufacturing professional’s presence located in your suppliers’ region.
